Naturally Loved is proudly offering private, one-on-one lactation consultations with our in-house International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC*), Sara Dale-Bley.

Some (but not all) of the issues that can be addressed during a private consultation include:

• Position and latch
• Breastfeeding after a c-section
• Too much or too little milk supply
• Breastfeeding more than one baby
• Finding solutions if breastfeeding is uncomfortable or not working well at any stage
• Breastfeeding a premature baby, or a baby with special needs
• Using a breast pump most effectively
• Breastfeeding even when your baby is sick or in the NICU
• Breastfeeding after you return to work or school
• Confidence that you can breastfeed for as long as you and your baby want

Initial Consultations (typically 90-120 minutes): $140

This visit will include a thorough discussion of your unique breastfeeding situation and expectations. Sara will take an extensive medical history of both you and your child(ren), observe a typical feeding session, establish a customized care plan, discuss how follow-up care will proceed, and send reports to health care providers of both you and your baby. If indicated, this visit will also include an assessment of your baby's oral anatomy. Great care will be taken to ensure that any intervention or physical assessment is done as gently and respectfully as possible.

Follow-Up Consultations (typically 60 minutes): $70

These visits will include an in-depth discussion of how breastfeeding is progressing, observation of a typical feeding session, and reassessment of your care plan.

All consultations will be scheduled on an individual basis and take place at Naturally Loved, 2895A Fairfax Street, Denver, CO 80207. Payment via cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover is expected at time of service. Upon request, a superbill suitable for submission to your insurance company for reimbursement will be provided. Reimbursement is not guaranteed and should be verified by you with your insurance provider prior to scheduling your visit with us.
